"Christian" Art or Prophetic Art?

A mistake made by many in the church today is to label only creative expression that is ‘family-friendly’ or ‘g-rated’ as “Christian art” or God-inspired; when in fact, the Father has chosen to use artists to express His heart throughout the generations in a variety of ways – some easy to understand and some difficult. I encourage you in the Lord to become increasingly comfortable with the prophetic nature of your work so that when the Lord speaks, you are able to respond, without any religious preconception of what that response will be.

With Signs & Wonders Following

In Mark 16:17 Jesus said:
“17And these signs will accompany those who believe: In my name they will drive out demons; they will speak in new tongues; 18they will pick up snakes with their hands; and when they drink deadly poison, it will not hurt them at all; they will place their hands on sick people, and they will get well."

A natural outflow of walking in the Kingdom as a believer – and all the more so as an artisan - is to see signs and wonders following you. The Bible is full of illustrations where the power and presence of God was on people, in places, & on things. If Paul can send a handkerchief full of the power and presence of God and see someone healed, then so can you! Your work carries the very power and presence of God. Let faith rise and expect signs and wonders to follow your work! By faith, begin now to expect the release the voice of God through your creative expression!
